Announcing Our Summer 2026 Grant Recipients
Thanks to the continued support of our Impact Members and the addition of new members joining our mission, we are thrilled to award one $6,500 Grow the Good Impact Grant and two $1,500 Seed Grants this quarter. We are honored to support three incredible Sonoma County organizations doing important work to make our community stronger, healthier, and more compassionate.
Helping Local Students Start The Year Strong
This month we launched a Back-to-School Supply Drive to benefit children served by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa and our members generously donated backpacks, school supplies, lunch boxes, water bottles, and classroom essentials to help set local students up for success.
Learning, Serving, and Growing with Ceres Community Project
Last Friday, a group of our members had the privilege of spending the morning volunteering with Ceres Community Project, one of our past grant recipients. It was an inspiring day filled with learning, connection, and plenty of chopping, stirring, and preparing nutritious meals for neighbors in our community.
Community, Connection & Doing Good Together

Our First Grow the Good Community Celebration
Last night, nearly 50 women gathered for our first-ever Grow the Good Community Celebration, including representatives from more than a dozen local nonprofits, many of them past grant recipients or nominees, and all organizations doing incredible work throughout Sonoma County.
Rolling Up Our Sleeves at Redwood Empire Food Bank
Today, a group of Women for Good members traded their usual routines for gloves and an assembly line as we gathered at the Redwood Empire Food Bank for our quarterly volunteer shift.
Coffee, Community & Giving Back at Our Village Closet
Over the weekend Santa Rosa Women for Good gathered for a special combination coffee meetup and volunteer opportunity at the Our Village Closet’s resource center in Santa Rosa, an opportunity for to connect and also do some good together.
Celebrating Connection and Our $10,000 Grant
Last night we gathered for one of our favorite kinds of evenings: good conversation, meaningful connection, and the chance to celebrate the impact we are making together. The evening marked an especially exciting milestone for our group as we officially celebrated our $10,000 grant award to Wiley's Wish.
Building Connection Across Generations
This weekend we were proud to support and participate in the Generations in Motion event hosted by Council on Aging at Spring Lake Regional Park.
Circle Up: Bay Area Giving Leaders Connect
Our Board President Alex Hailey attended an event in San Francisco, joining giving circle leaders, nonprofit organizations, and community changemakers from across the Bay Area for an evening centered around collective giving and community impact.
Girls Night for Good
This week a group of our Santa Rosa Women for Good members enjoyed a ladies night out to see The Devil Wears Prada 2 with The Zane Templin Foundation. And yes, Women for Good proudly filled an entire row of the theater!
Funding Second Chances with Our Largest Grant Yet
We are thrilled to share that Wiley’s Wish Animal Rescue has been selected by our members as the recipient of Santa Rosa Women for Good’s $10,000 Grow the Good Spring Grant!
The Art of Coming Together
Last night several Santa Rosa Women for Good members came together for a relaxing Wine & Art Night, generously hosted by our member Tara Dickinson. It was a beautiful reminder of what makes Santa Rosa Women for Good so special and embodies everything this community is about: slowing down, connecting, and creating together.
Standing Together at the Out of the Darkness Walk
We were so proud to see so many Santa Rosa Women for Good members come out this weekend to support The Zane Templin Foundation at the Out of the Darkness Walk, joining Team Zane in walking together to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention.

A $10,000 Grant Is Coming to Sonoma County!
For the past several months, we have been working toward an exciting goal: growing Santa Rosa Women for Good to 100 members so we could award our largest community grant yet, $10,000 to a local nonprofit. And this week, it happened!
