Empowered Women Empower Communities

We bring women together for good.

At Santa Rosa Women for Good, we believe that every woman has the power to make a difference and we’re proud to welcome members from all walks of life. Our community is open and inclusive to women of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences.

Women join from all walks of life and for many different reasons. Some are longtime volunteers and community advocates, while others are just beginning to explore ways to get involved locally. Some are busy professionals, some are retirees, some are new to Sonoma County, and others have deep roots here.

What connects us is not a specific background, career, or income level — it’s a shared desire for connection, community, and making a positive local impact together.

This Community Is for Everyone

You do not need nonprofit experience, volunteer experience, professional connections, or a certain financial capacity to belong here.

Some women participate by attending social gatherings and meeting new people. Others volunteer, contribute to our collective giving efforts, or simply stay connected to the community in ways that fit their lives.

Whether you’re new to Sonoma County, early in your career, retired, raising kids, building friendships, or looking for a meaningful way to engage locally, there is space for you here.

Welcome to our community!

What Does It Mean to Be Part of Santa Rosa Women for Good?

Being part of Santa Rosa Women for Good means joining a community of women who care about connection, local impact, and supporting one another.

Some members attend events and volunteer opportunities to meet caring, community-minded women. Others participate in our collective giving efforts to help fund local nonprofits. Many engage in a little bit of everything.

There are no attendance requirements, no expectations to participate in every event, and no single “right” way to be involved. We believe community should feel welcoming, flexible, and accessible to women in all seasons of life.

With all of the global crises in our 24 hour new cycle, I wanted to make a difference in our world by starting at the community level. This group has provided great connection and friendship. There is so much need and so many non-profits making a big difference in Sonoma County.
