Good People, Good Stories, Good Community

Our August Happy Hour was one of those evenings that reminds us exactly why Santa Rosa Women for Good exists.

Nearly 40 women came together at The Junction to spend an evening connecting, catching up, and celebrating our community. We had so many women joining us for the very first time, and it was wonderful to watch new connections happening all across this patio that we filled up.

There were conversations happening everywhere. New friendships being made. Ideas being shared. And, as always, a whole lot of good stuff happening.

Sprinkled throughout the group were members and friends of Santa Rosa Women for Good who work with local nonprofits. As we talked, we had the opportunity to hear stories about their work, the people and communities they serve, and the impact they're making right here in Sonoma County. Those conversations are one of our favorite parts of gathering together because they give us a chance to learn from one another and better understand the incredible work happening all around us.

And really, that's what this is all about.

It's about getting to spend an evening with good people, hearing good stories, building relationships, and being part of a good community. It's about creating a space where women can come together, learn from one another, and find more ways to make a difference.

We left feeling grateful for this growing community and already looking forward to doing it all again next month.

Because September brings something exciting: the launch of our Fall Grant Cycle! We'll be opening nominations and giving our members another opportunity to come together to learn about local nonprofits, vote, and direct our collective giving where it can make an impact.

We can't wait to see what we discover next.

Here's to good people, good stories, and growing good together!
