More Than a Giving Circle

We’re a welcoming community of women building friendships, supporting local nonprofits, and growing the good together throughout Sonoma County.

Our Mission

To bring women together through connection, collective giving, and community engagement in order to support local nonprofits and create meaningful impact throughout Sonoma County.

Our Vision

We envision a growing and inclusive community of women who care deeply, act locally, and experience a true sense of belonging while helping strengthen the nonprofits that make Sonoma County a better place for all.

Founded in 2022, began with a simple belief: when women come together, good things grow.

What started as a shared desire to support local nonprofits has grown into a vibrant community centered around connection, generosity, and collective impact. We created Santa Rosa Women for Good to be more than a traditional giving circle: we wanted it to feel approachable, relational, and rooted in community.

Today, women across Sonoma County participate in many different ways. Some attend social gatherings and volunteer events to meet other caring, community-minded women. Others contribute through collective giving as Impact Members. Many do both.

No matter how someone chooses to engage, our goal remains the same: to create meaningful opportunities for women to connect, give back locally, and be part of something hopeful together.

A Community Built on Connection and Collective Giving

At our core, we are a social giving circle, meaning we come together to learn about local needs, support nonprofits collectively, and make community impact more accessible and meaningful.

Each quarter, Impact Members pool their donations to fund grants for Sonoma County nonprofits doing important work in our community. Together, our members have contributed more than $80,000 to local organizations through the power of collective giving.

But what makes this community special goes beyond the grants themselves. We believe relationships matter too. Through happy hours, volunteer opportunities, nonprofit spotlights, and community events, we create spaces for women to build authentic friendships while making a difference close to home.

“I believe that people working together can make an important impact and that creating a space for the sharing of ideas and resources in our community is an exciting opportunity to get to know each other and our neighbors.”
