A Dolly Good Time!

What a night! Our October Happy Hour was full of rhinestones, denim, boots, wigs, and plenty of Dolly-inspired sparkle! We had so much fun celebrating together at Rockpile Vineyards in Healdsburg, and we may have just started a new tradition: October happy hours will be themed from here on out!

But beyond the outfits and fun, the evening was about something even more meaningful: coming together to support local kids and celebrate the power of generosity.

Celebrating Dolly’s Legacy of Giving

We were thrilled to welcome Daniela from the Sonoma County Imagination Library, who shared more about the incredible impact of Dolly Parton’s legacy of giving free books to young children. Through this program, children receive free books, helping families build a love of reading and giving little ones the opportunity to grow their own home libraries.

Dolly’s generosity has reached children and families around the world, including right here in Sonoma County. We loved learning more about the program’s local impact and finding a way for our Women for Good community to help carry that legacy forward.

We have been collecting one-time donations all month to support the Sonoma County Imagination Library and to make the generosity go even further, Women for Good is matching eligible donations dollar for dollar, up to $1,500 through 10/16.

Every gift helps support the joy of reading and the opportunity that comes with putting books into the hands of local children. Thank you to everyone who has joined us in honoring Dolly’s legacy by helping more Sonoma County kids discover the magic of books.
