We’re Growing the Good in a Whole New Way

BIG NEWS: Santa Rosa Women for Good is growing the good in a whole new way!

Because our community has grown and because so many women want to be part of this movement for good, we are excited to announce that we are able to expand our grant program in an exciting and meaningful way.

Starting with our Summer 2026 grant cycle, which is now open, all three nonprofit finalists will receive funding through Santa Rosa Women for Good each quarter.

This is a big step forward in how we give, and it reflects what this community has become. A group of women who believe in collective action, shared decision-making, and the power of showing up for local nonprofits in a consistent and meaningful way.

A Simple Change That Expands Our Impact

Under our updated model, the top-voted organization will receive our $5,000 Grow the Good Impact Grant.

The other two finalist organizations will each receive a $1,000 Seed Grant.

The process remains the same. Members will continue to nominate nonprofits, review finalists, and vote on where funding goes each quarter. What is changing is the scale of support. Instead of one organization receiving funding, all three finalists will now be supported.

Same process. Same member participation. More impact.

Why We Made This Change

This evolution came directly from what we have been hearing from our members.

One of the most consistent pieces of feedback we receive is how difficult it is to choose just one organization from such an inspiring group of finalists.

And the truth is, we agree.

Every cycle, we are reminded of the depth and diversity of nonprofit work happening across Sonoma County. These organizations are addressing critical needs, strengthening our community, and showing up in powerful ways every day.

This change allows us to honor that reality by expanding our support.

Growing Together Means Growing Our Impact

This update also reflects something deeper about who we are becoming as a community.

Santa Rosa Women for Good has always been rooted in the idea that collective giving makes meaningful change possible. When many people contribute what they can, consistent impact becomes possible in a way that no single one of us could achieve alone.

Right now, approximately 88 Women for Good members are contributing each quarter. When we reach 100 quarterly donors, we will immediately increase the value of all three of our quarterly grants.

More members means more funding. More funding means more support for local organizations. And more support means more good growing throughout our community.

This is the natural rhythm of collective giving. We grow together, and our impact grows with us.

What This Really Means

This is not just a change in structure. It is a reflection of what is possible when a community continues to show up, stay engaged, and believe in shared impact over individual recognition.

It is about saying yes to more organizations doing important work. It is about widening the circle of support. And it is about ensuring that more nonprofits feel seen, valued, and funded.

At its core, this model reflects a simple belief.

Making a difference is not reserved for the wealthy or well-connected. It belongs to everyone willing to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Looking Ahead

We are incredibly excited about this next chapter for Santa Rosa Women for Good. As our community continues to grow, so will our ability to give. And as our ability to give grows, so will the number of organizations we can support.

More members. More funding. More impact. More good.

Thank you to every member, partner, and nonprofit that has helped us build this movement for good. We cannot wait to see what we grow together next.
