200 Women Strong: Growing Our Community, Growing Our Impact
200 women. 127 Impact Members. Thousands of dollars invested in our community. And so much more good ahead.
Last week we celebrated a milestone that feels pretty incredible: Santa Rosa Women for Good has officially reached 200 members!
What began as a small group of women coming together to make a difference in our community has grown into a community of 200 women who believe that when we come together, we can accomplish more than we ever could alone.
And while we’re celebrating the number 200, what matters most is what that number represents: 200 women choosing to connect, show up, give back, learn, volunteer, support local organizations, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

Women for Good is about more than our quarterly grants.
It’s the women who come to happy hours and coffee meetups and leave having made a new connection. It’s the members who bring a friend to their first event. It’s the women who volunteer together, learn from local nonprofits, and find new ways to get involved in our community.
It’s the conversations, friendships, introductions, ideas, and opportunities that happen when women who care about their community come together.
And as our community grows, we want to make sure we continue building the kind of organization that our members want to be part of.
So, what do you want to see more of?
More volunteer opportunities? More social events and ways to connect? More opportunities to learn about local nonprofits? More grantmaking? Something we haven’t thought of yet?
We want to hear from you. Because Women for Good is shaped by the women who make up this community.
And as we grow, we’re also looking for more women who want to help make the good happen, whether that means helping plan an event, welcoming new members, organizing a volunteer opportunity, or simply bringing your ideas and enthusiasm to the group.

Our Next Goal: 150 Impact Members
One of the most powerful things about this community is what happens when we pool our resources.
Of our 200 members, currently 127 are Impact Members: women who make financial contributions that fund our grant pool. Together, those contributions allow us to collectively award thousands of dollars each quarter to local nonprofits doing important work across Sonoma County.
That’s the power of a giving circle: we don’t have to do it alone.
Most of our Impact Members give $100 each quarter, but we encourage our members to give what works for them because every dollar really multiplies when we give together. A contribution that might feel modest on its own becomes part of something much bigger when 127 women come together.
And now, we’re ready to grow that impact even further.
Reaching 150 Impact Members would put us in a position to increase the value of our grants each quarter, allowing us to put even more dollars behind the local nonprofits working every day to make Sonoma County a better place.
That means more resources for organizations addressing the needs in our community. More opportunities to support innovative ideas. And more collective impact from the women who make up Santa Rosa Women for Good.
There’s a Place for Everyone Here
As we look toward 150 Impact Members, we want to be intentional about saying this: You do not have to be an Impact Member to be an important part of Women for Good.
Everyone in our community is an essential part of this group. You come to events. You volunteer. You invite friends. You help spread the word. You learn about the incredible nonprofit work happening in our community. You connect with other women who want to do good. You help make this a community and there are many ways that we all make good happen.
But if you’re been thinking about becoming a donating Impact Member, this could be the perfect time to take that next step.
And if you’re already an Impact Member, you can help us reach our goal by inviting another woman to join you.
Imagine what could happen if we reached 150 women giving together. Imagine the organizations we could support. The dollars we could put into Sonoma County. The impact we could make collectively.
Can We Reach 150 by November?
This November, Santa Rosa Women for Good will celebrate four years of growing the good together.
What better way to celebrate than by reaching another milestone and increasing what we’re able to give back to our community? When we reach 150 donating members we will immediately increase the value of the grants we give each quarter, deepening the impact we can have with our collective giving.
