Announcing Our Summer 2026 Grant Recipients

This quarter marks a very special milestone for Santa Rosa Women for Good: for the first time since our founding, we are awarding more than one grant in a single quarter!

This milestone is a direct reflection of the incredible growth of our giving circle and the generosity of our members who continue to come together with a shared belief that when we pool our resources, we can create meaningful change right here in our community.

Thanks to the continued support of our Impact Members and the addition of new members joining our mission, we are thrilled to award one $6,500 Grow the Good Impact Grant and two $1,500 Seed Grants this quarter. We are honored to support three incredible Sonoma County organizations doing important work to make our community stronger, healthier, and more compassionate.

Our Summer 2026 Grant Recipients

Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County - $6,500 Grow the Good Impact Grant Recipient

Our giving circle is proud to support Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County in their compassionate work improving the lives of community cats through spay and neuter programs, medical care, and dedicated colony management.

For decades, Forgotten Felines has worked to reduce cat overpopulation, prevent suffering, and provide essential care for cats throughout Sonoma County. Their dedicated volunteers and programs ensure that community cats receive the support they need while creating a more humane and sustainable approach to animal welfare.

We are excited to invest in their mission and support the continued impact they are making for animals and the people who care for them.

The Zane Templin Foundation - $1,500 Seed Grant Recipient

We are excited to continue supporting The Zane Templin Foundation with a Seed Grant as they expand access to mental health resources, education, and suicide prevention programs for youth and families in our community.

As a past grant recipient, the Zane Templin Foundation has already shown our members the meaningful difference they are making through their commitment to creating awareness, reducing stigma, and connecting young people with resources that support mental wellness.

We are honored to continue partnering with an organization that is helping build a stronger support system for Sonoma County youth.

Free to Be - $1,500 Seed Grant Recipient

We are thrilled to once again support Free to Be with a Seed Grant as they continue empowering Sonoma County youth to build confidence, develop resilience, and make healthy choices.

Through engaging programs that focus on self-worth, emotional well-being, and healthy relationships, Free to Be provides young people with the tools and support they need to navigate challenges and thrive.

As a past grant recipient, our members are familiar with the incredible impact that the thoughtful, preventative youth programs Free to Be offers and are proud to continue investing in the important work they do.

The Power of Coming Together

When Santa Rosa Women for Good began in 2022, our vision was simple: bring women together to support local nonprofits and create a bigger impact through collective giving. Each quarter, our Impact Members have the opportunity to learn about incredible organizations in our community, vote on grants, and directly support the causes that matter most to them.

This quarter’s milestone is a reminder of what is possible when we continue to grow together. Every new member who joins, every donation that is made, and every conversation that spreads the word helps us increase our impact.

Thank you to our Impact Members for helping us Grow the Good and congratulations to Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County, Zane Templin Foundation, and Free to Be. We cannot wait to see the continued impact of your work in our community.
