Celebrating Connection and Our $10,000 Milestone Grant

Last night, Santa Rosa Women for Good gathered at Fieldwork Brewing Company for one of our favorite kinds of evenings: good conversation, meaningful connection, and the chance to celebrate the impact we are making together.

The evening marked an especially exciting milestone for our group as we officially celebrated our $10,000 grant award to Wiley's Wish. Reaching this level of giving is something our entire community should feel proud of. What started as a group of women coming together around a shared desire to support local nonprofits has continued to grow into a collective force for good here in Sonoma County.

What made the night feel especially meaningful was the mix of women in attendance. There were many of our regular members who consistently show up to events throughout the year, longtime members who pop in whenever life and schedules allow, and several brand new faces who came to learn more about what Santa Rosa Women for Good is all about.

That blend of people is something we truly love about this group.

At its core, Santa Rosa Women for Good was never intended to feel like another obligation or commitment women have to squeeze into already busy lives. We know everyone’s schedules, responsibilities, and seasons of life look different. Some members attend nearly every event. Others may only make it to one or two gatherings a year. Some join primarily to support our grants, while others are searching for community and connection along the way.

All of those women belong here.

One of the things we value most is creating opportunities for women to come together in a way that feels welcoming, flexible, and genuine. No pressure. No guilt trips. No expectation that participation has to look one specific way. We simply want to create a space where women can show up when they can, connect with others, and collectively make a difference in our community.

And that mission is clearly resonating.

As our membership continues to grow, so does our ability to support incredible local organizations, strengthen community relationships, and expand the impact we can make together. Every new member, every event attendee, every conversation, and every contribution helps make that possible.
