Helping Local Students Start The Year Strong
This month we launched a Back-to-School Supply Drive to benefit children served by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa and our members generously donated backpacks, school supplies, lunch boxes, water bottles, and classroom essentials to help set local students up for success.
Community, Connection & Doing Good Together
From welcoming new faces and reconnecting with longtime members to packing 60 backpacks for local students and announcing our biggest grant cycle yet, our July Happy Hour was a beautiful reminder of what's possible when women come together to make a difference.
Our First Grow the Good Community Celebration
Last night, nearly 50 women gathered for our first-ever Grow the Good Community Celebration, including representatives from more than a dozen local nonprofits, many of them past grant recipients or nominees, and all organizations doing incredible work throughout Sonoma County.
Rolling Up Our Sleeves at Redwood Empire Food Bank
Today, a group of Women for Good members traded their usual routines for gloves and an assembly line as we gathered at the Redwood Empire Food Bank for our quarterly volunteer shift.

Over the weekend Santa Rosa Women for Good gathered for a special combination coffee meetup and volunteer opportunity at the Our Village Closet’s resource center in Santa Rosa, an opportunity for to connect and also do some good together.
Celebrating Connection and Our $10,000 Grant
Last night we gathered for one of our favorite kinds of evenings: good conversation, meaningful connection, and the chance to celebrate the impact we are making together. The evening marked an especially exciting milestone for our group as we officially celebrated our $10,000 grant award to Wiley's Wish.
Building Connection Across Generations
This weekend we were proud to support and participate in the Generations in Motion event hosted by Council on Aging at Spring Lake Regional Park.
Circle Up: Bay Area Giving Leaders Connect
Our Board President Alex Hailey attended an event in San Francisco, joining giving circle leaders, nonprofit organizations, and community changemakers from across the Bay Area for an evening centered around collective giving and community impact.
Girls Night for Good
This week a group of our Santa Rosa Women for Good members enjoyed a ladies night out to see The Devil Wears Prada 2 with The Zane Templin Foundation. And yes, Women for Good proudly filled an entire row of the theater!
Standing Together at the Out of the Darkness Walk
We were so proud to see so many Santa Rosa Women for Good members come out this weekend to support The Zane Templin Foundation at the Out of the Darkness Walk, joining Team Zane in walking together to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention.

Serving Up Good at the Food Bank
This week a group of our members spent the afternoon volunteering at the Redwood Empire Food Bank, helping sort and pack food that will go directly to individuals and families throughout our region.
Volunteering with LandPaths for Forest Health & Wildfire Prevention
Over the weekend, members of Santa Rosa Women for Good spent a rewarding day outdoors volunteering with LandPaths, supporting hands-on efforts to improve forest health and reduce wildfire risk in our region.
A Galentine’s Night to Remember
Our February Galentine’s Happy Hour Social was truly one for the books. With 30 women coming together for a relaxed evening of connection and conversation, the energy in the room was warm, joyful, and deeply affirming of why Santa Rosa Women for Good exists.

Last night, our Santa Rosa Women for Good community gathered for our January Social Mixer and it was a beautiful way to kick off the year together. Members and guests came together at the Positive Images Community Center for an evening rooted in connection, learning, and shared hope for the year ahead.

Heels On for a Night of Purpose
Last night a group of Santa Rosa Women for Good members came together for a special night out, filled with laughter, connection, and a deep sense of purpose. A group of our members were proud to sponsor a table on behalf of our giving circle at High Heels for Hope, the annual fundraiser benefiting The Zane Templin Foundation.
An Evening in Oz to Support Local Kids in Foster Care
On Saturday night we were thrilled to sponsor and attend Our Village Closet’s annual fundraiser to raise money to bring hope, joy, and belonging for children in need.
