This month for our happy hour, we're going to honor a woman who knew how to do good: Dolly Parton.
Whether you're a longtime Women for Good member, a friend of the group, or just curious about what we're all about, we'd love to have you join us!
Our October Happy Hour will be hosted at Rockpile Vineyards in their beautiful tasting room. Healdsburg is a little farther north than our usual happy hour spots, but we think this one will be extra fun and worth the drive!
We're keeping things mostly like a typical Women for Good happy hour — good wine, good conversation, and good people — but we're adding a little Dolly-inspired sparkle to the evening. Think rhinestones, boots, big hair, pink, denim… whatever Dolly means to you. Dressing up is completely optional, but encouraged if you're feeling a little extra.
We'll have some Dolly-inspired touches throughout the evening, including a Dolly playlist and maybe even a little photo moment.
A Good Gift for Dolly's Imagination Library
We're also taking this opportunity to make a one-time Good Gift in honor of Dolly's incredible legacy of giving.
Through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, millions of children have received free books, helping put the joy and opportunity of reading into the hands of young children and families. We thought supporting this program here in Sonoma County would be a fun and meaningful way to honor her legacy.
And we're going to make your generosity go even further! Women for Good will match all one-time donations made to the Imagination Library through this Good Gift from our grant fund, doubling the impact of every dollar given.

This will be a typical Women for Good happy hour — just with a little more sparkle and a little more Dolly. We'll also be announcing our Fall Grant finalists, so you won't want to miss it!
