“I've never been someone who loves making a big deal out of my birthday, but as I've been reflecting on turning 35 this year, I've realized just how grateful I am for the incredible community of people who have been part of my life. And that got me thinking:
What if I invited the people I care about to celebrate with me by giving $35 to a cause that's close to my heart?
Through Santa Rosa Women for Good, I've seen firsthand the power of collective giving. When each of us contributes a little, together we can create an incredible amount of good. Time and time again, I've watched small acts of generosity grow into meaningful support for our community.

Who Alex Has Chosen to Support
“I've chosen to support Our Village Closet. Those who know me know that supporting children and families impacted by foster care is deeply important to me and has become a meaningful part of my life over the past decade.
Our Village Closet provides free resources that help ensure children and caregivers have the essentials they need to thrive, from beds, clothing, shoes, car seats, and hygiene products to toys, books, school supplies, and so much more. These items may seem simple, but they can make an incredible difference during times of transition and uncertainty.
Over the past year, I've had the honor of joining the Board of Directors for Our Village Closet, giving me the opportunity to work alongside an extraordinary team of staff and volunteers who truly embody what it means to be the village for children and families who need one. Their compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment inspire me every day.

The Good Gift is a Santa Rosa Women for Good program that empowers women to celebrate life's milestones by inspiring generosity and supporting local nonprofits.
At Santa Rosa Women for Good, we believe that generosity grows when it's shared. Every day, women across our community choose to come together, pooling their time, talents, and resources to support local nonprofits making a difference in Sonoma County. The Good Gift program is one more way our members invite the people they love into that spirit of collective giving. By celebrating a birthday or other milestone through Women for Good, a single act of generosity becomes part of something much bigger: a community of people working together to create lasting impact.
Donations made through this campaign are made to Santa Rosa Women for Good, a registered 501(c)(3). Funds raised are intended to support a grant benefiting the featured nonprofit, subject to approval by the Santa Rosa Women for Good Board of Directors and in accordance with our charitable grant-making policies.
