Wrapping Up 2024
Santa Rosa Women for Good has established an annual tradition of selecting families in need to purchase holiday gifts for and this year we were thrilled to be able to complete the wish lists for two local families. Our ladies got together tonight for a fun holiday social and to wrap gifts together at our final meeting of the year. Cheers to the close of an incredible year of community!
Providing Hope for Animals: Dogwood Animal Rescue Project
We are proud to celebrate Dogwood Animal Rescue Project, a local nonprofit is doing incredible work rescuing, rehabilitating, and supporting animals in need throughout Sonoma County and beyond. Their compassionate programs give animals a second chance at life while educating the community about responsible care and wellness.
Giving in 2024
This Giving Tuesday we would like to share the organizations that Santa Rosa Women for Good has supported in 2024. All of these non-profits are doing incredible work and we were grateful to be able to support them this year with grants from our giving circle. If you are looking for amazing community driven organizations to gift with a donation today, any of these groups would be excellent to consider.
High Heels for Hope
Santa Rosa Women for Good was proud to sponsor The Zane Templin Foundation’s High Heels For Hope fundraiser this past Saturday. Not only was this event in support of an extremely important cause, but it was a lovely evening showcasing the power of togetherness. The Zane Templin Foundation is doing incredible work in Sonoma County supporting mental health and bringing hope to those affected by suicide and we are grateful to get to support them in their mission. “Replace the I with WE, illness becomes wellness.”
An Evening in Neverland with Our Village Closet
Santa Rosa Women for Good was proud to sponsor the fundraising event for Our Village Closet! OVC’s annual fundraiser helps to forward their important mission of supporting youth in foster care and their caregivers in Sonoma County by offering resources and community care.
Supporting Redwood Empire Food Bank!
This month for our meeting, the Santa Rosa Women for Good met up at the Redwood Empire Food Bank where we volunteered as a group and bagged produce. Over the course of two hours we were able to enjoying visiting together, talked about our hopes for impact with this quarter’s donation, and bagged over 1,523 lbs of carrots!
