The Art of Coming Together
Last night several Santa Rosa Women for Good members came together for a relaxing Wine & Art Night, generously hosted by our member Tara Dickinson. It was a beautiful reminder of what makes Santa Rosa Women for Good so special and embodies everything this community is about: slowing down, connecting, and creating together.
This beginner-friendly workshop provided an exploration of Neurographic Art, a calming and meditative drawing process that transforms simple lines and shapes into flowing, organic designs. With gentle guidance from Tara, members leaned into mindfulness, letting go of expectations and embracing the quiet joy of creating.
There’s something powerful about giving ourselves permission to pause. No pressure, no “right” or “wrong”, just space to be creative alongside one another. And in that space, conversations flowed, laughter surfaced, and new connections were formed.
This is exactly what makes our group so unique.
While our volunteer leadership team works hard to organize monthly events and opportunities, it’s our members who truly bring this community to life. Events like this one, sparked by a member’s passion and willingness to share it, are what transform Santa Rosa Women for Good from a network into something much deeper.
Tara, thank you for initiating this special evening and for sharing your gift for art with our community. It’s a perfect example of the magic that happens when women come together and contribute their talents, passions, and experiences.
This group is about the collective. It’s about showing up, sharing what we love, and building something meaningful together!
