We had such a great time volunteering with Ceres Community Project earlier this year that we knew we had to come back! We're excited to head into the kitchen again to support their incredible team and help spread a little extra good throughout our community this holiday season.
Ceres prepares medically tailored meals for people facing serious health challenges, providing nourishing food and connection when it's needed most. This time, a small group of 6–8 Women for Good members will work alongside Ceres' culinary team to prepare and package extra meals that will serve their clients throughout the busy holiday season.
It's a wonderful opportunity to roll up our sleeves, learn more about the work happening behind the scenes, and make a tangible difference together. No professional cooking experience needed, just a willingness to pitch in and have fun!
A few things to know before you RSVP:
Please arrive ready for kitchen work with:
A head covering: Ceres has hats, hairnets, and hair ties available if you need them.
Closed-toed shoes
Pants: No shorts, please.
A shirt with sleeves: Short or long sleeves are both fine.
Please RSVP here if you plan to attend, as we have a limited number of spots and Ceres is counting on us! If your plans change after you've RSVP'd, please let me know so we can update Ceres and ensure they have an accurate headcount.
We're looking forward to another great day of cooking, connecting, and growing the good together! 💚
