Santa Rosa Women for Good is partnering with Catholic Charities to help local children experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity start the school year with the supplies they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

Every Child Deserves a Strong Start to the School Year
For many families in our community, preparing for a new school year can be overwhelming. Families experiencing homelessness or housing instability often face difficult choices between meeting basic needs and purchasing school supplies.
This year, Santa Rosa Women for Good is partnering with Catholic Charities to help ensure local students begin the school year feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn.
Catholic Charities expects more than 60 children to participate in their back-to-school event. Together, we hope to provide backpacks and essential school supplies that will help students walk into the classroom with the tools they need for success.
A backpack may seem like a simple item, but for a child facing uncertainty, it can provide a sense of belonging, confidence, and stability as they begin a new school year.

Our goal is to collect enough backpacks and school supplies to support every child participating in Catholic Charities' back-to-school event this year.
